During the last couple of years, the International Hearing Society's Advocacy Alliance has done amazing work on behalf of veterans and providers alike! SEE "FIT TO SERVE PASSES THE HOUSE!" below. This was made possible by the work of the IHS Advocacy Alliance! MAHCP donated $5,000 to the Alliance at the 65th Annual IHS Convention & Expo in Chicago, IL held September 2016. FIT TO SERVE PASSES THE HOUSE!

Today, Sept. 14, 2016, the U.S. House of Representatives considered H.R. 5620, the VA Accountability First and Appeals Modernization Act of 2016, an omnibus bill that incorporates a series of reforms aimed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As part of the bill's consideration, Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) introduced an amendment to the bill that contains our hearing healthcare language that was passed just two days ago in H.R. 3471. The amendment was adopted, and H.R. 5620 passed the House 310-116. NOW ONTO THE SENATE!!! IHS Still Needs your support!
