Our fall event on Sept. 29th will be a meet and greet for those of you who are curious about our organization and want to learn more about how to get involved. As well as our meet and greet agenda we will be having our annual membership meeting/luncheon immediately following.(Please note the luncheon part is for members only). FIT TO SERVE PASSES THE HOUSE!

Today, Sept. 14, 2016, the U.S. House of Representatives considered H.R. 5620, the VA Accountability First and Appeals Modernization Act of 2016, an omnibus bill that incorporates a series of reforms aimed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). As part of the bill's consideration, Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) introduced an amendment to the bill that contains our hearing healthcare language that was passed just two days ago in H.R. 3471. The amendment was adopted, and H.R. 5620 passed the House 310-116. NOW ONTO THE SENATE!!! IHS Still Needs your support!
